Itinerary

Begin with a thorough orientation and safety briefing at the PADI 5* Dive Center. Meet your instructor and receive your training materials. Spend the day mastering essential skills in confined water sessions, ensuring you are comfortable with the basics of scuba diving.

Continue your confined water training, refining your skills and building confidence. Between dives, participate in theory sessions to understand diving principles, safety protocols, and dive planning.

Experience your first open water dives in the stunning waters of Hikkaduwa. Practice the skills learned in confined water and enjoy the vibrant marine life. The day includes two open water dives, each offering new challenges and learning opportunities.

Complete your final two open water dives, demonstrating your proficiency and confidence. After successful completion, receive your globally recognized PADI Open Water Diver certification. Celebrate your achievement and enjoy newfound freedom to explore the underwater world.

  • A: No prior experience with scuba diving is required. Participants must be aged 10 or older, in good physical health, able to float for 10 minutes, and swim 200 meters unaided and without stopping.

  • A: The package includes a PADI certified dive instructor, certification papers/card, training materials, full set of scuba equipment rental, weights/weight belt/tank(s), mask/snorkel, fins (full foot), wetsuit (shorty, 3mm, 5mm), BCD, regulator, dive computer, flashlight (torch), confined water dives, open water dives (4), surface interval refreshments, and free pickup if staying within 5km of the dive center.
